Research and Education
Important to the program are research and education. Several
clinical projects are underway in efforts to improve diagnosis
and treatment for patients in the midst of a brain attack
or dealing with the aftermath of such an insult. For information
about the clinical studies currently recruiting participants,
please, contact Jennifer Hagemann at 323.224.5138.
Funding to support this program is obtained through grants
from the NIH and pharmaceutical companies as well as grants
or gifts from foundations and individuals. Donations are tax
deductible. These help further work toward developing new
and exciting therapies for stroke and other cerebrovascular
diseases. To learn more about how to help, contact Gene Y.
Sung, M.D., USC Keck School of Medicine, 1975 Zonal Avenue,
Unit 1, Room 5641, Los Angeles, CA 90033 or telephone Dr.
